Sorry for the late response, but I'm now located in St. Augustine, Fl. Just haven't updated the profile... I did my year in the Middle East so now I'm being rewarded with this amazing Florida weather for a few years. I work in Jacksonville Beach so I travel that way Monday thru Friday.

Alright, almost every morning I see a black FJR with a top box on 295 heading south around Baymeadows. Usually a little after 7. Anybody here. I'm a former FJR owner now riding a black C14(found a really good deal). I'm always heading north towards Jax beach. Just curious if your on here. Josh

Didn't see it discussed already and was wondering what your thoughts are on the new v-strom 1000? I'm digging the new look! From the little bit of reading I have done it sounds like it is pretty much a new bike. What is the general consensus?

Keep looking. I just sold my 2004 w/ ABS for $5000 and it only had 18,900 miles. Plus it had several extras. Good deals are out there if you are patient.

I know it's a sin!!! In my defense, I only had it for two years and did put 12,000 miles on it. Not bad for someone who mainly commutes. Especially when work is only 8 miles away.

Thanks! I got orders to Manama, Bahrain. It's only for a year. The plan for now is for the wife and kids to move to South Carolina close to her family.
