Old topic but maybe I'll get an answer. My 2010 shudders and shakes when moving in both directions. Problem now is that it does not completely retract. It goes all the way down but does not pull in towards the fairing that last inch. I've tried different lubes with no success. Any ideas guys?

I ordered a new battery online, got it, added the acid and put it on Battery Tender Jr. to hopefully charge it over a few days. My multi-meter died today so I can't measure the voltage. I got a steady green on the Tender so it should be good. Has anyone use a Jr. to initialize a new battery...
