I talked my local dealer into replacing the rear shock under the YES warranty and got it installed today. It was toast after 25k miles. I also installed prograssive front springs, new rear Avon Storm tire, replaced the recalled ECM and got the bike inspected. I was planning to try an IB ride...

I wish we could have been in the picture but we never heard anything about it. Oh well, maybe next year. :angry:

The "Loop the Lakes" Trip is over and we all made it back in good shape. 3,221 miles covered in 9 days. 4 Yamaha FJR1300's (2 '06's, 1 '05, 1 '03) and 1 BMW K1200gt ('03). 3 of the 5 had CB radios so we could stay in contact reasonably well. We left Princeton, WV on Aug 28th in good weather...
