    Aftermarket horn on a 2018

Has anyone added a air horn like a Stebel to a 2018 FJR?  I would like to replace the stock horn with something that would actually work!  I searched the forums and found lots of old old info, but all of the pictures were removed or the links didn't work, and the installs were all on much older...

    2018 FJR key blank

Can anyone tell me what brand and model key blank will work on a 2018 FJR?  I'd like to make one for a spare, and one for my topcase. Thanks

    Flying To St. Louis Tomorrow

I also just went down to the St. Louis area and purchased a new 2018 FJR.  I bought mine and Big St. Charles Motorsports for 11762 out the door plus license. Where did you get yours?

    6 speed tranny problems?

I'm looking at an 18 and I am wondering if anyone has seen any problems with the new 6 speed transmission. Also does anyone have a chart of the gear ratios? Thanks!

Where to park my Truck & Trailer

Where to park a Truck & Trailer I'm heading down to Arkansas this Friday from north of the Twin Cities Minnesota and Wednesday we're supposed to get another 3-6" south of the cities, in addition to the 18" we just got this weekend. I don't want to ride my FJR on wet salt covered roads, so I'm...

    Tires for an Alaskan trip

Sorry, I meant I wasn't going to do the road to chicken or Prudhome Bay. This will be my second trip to Alaska, and I am looking forward to it!

    Tires for an Alaskan trip

That is very interesting and looks to be more of a challenge than I'd care for unless on a adventure bike.

    Tires for an Alaskan trip

I'm looking for tire recommendations for a trip that will be about 8500 miles on an FJR. I normally use Pilot Road 4s, and really love them, but I don't think they'll go the distance, and I'd like to avoid getting new tires on the trip. I will be doing some camping, so although I will be...

Thanks for all of the advice and help guys! We had a great trip even with all of the closed roads. I'll just have to do the trip again in July or August

PCH to South then North thru central California

Yesterday we left Red Bluff and took 36 to Fortuna. As you guys suggested, that is one fantastic road! Last night we camped at Redwood NP, today we rode the Avenue of the Giants, what a beautiful road that is. After that we got on Hwy 1 and took that for about 160 miles, finally heading over...

PCH to South then North thru central California

Thanks Highlander. when we get to the coast we're planning on heading north to check out the Redwoods, then following the PCH and ave of the giants and hwy 1. We're not really sure how much time we'll be spending in CA, but it will probably be 8-9 days. Where is 88? I'm sad to hear that 120...

PCH to South then North thru central California

My departure date is coming soon! We are expecting to be in Reno on the 8th or 9th of May, then planning on going up to Susanville and taking 36 across to the coast. We plan on cutting over and heading east north of LA. I'm thinking of taking Casitas Pass Road to Baldwin to Maricopa (33) to...

PCH to South then North thru central California

My Trip is getting closer! Looking at the maps online, near Stafford Ca I see hwy 254. Avenue of the Giants which i see is paved.. I'm wondering if Lower Bull Creek Flat Road to Mattole road to Panther Gap Road is all paved? And does anyone know what would be better, those or avenue of the...

PCH to South then North thru central California

I've been down the coast from the NW corner of Washington to Arcata Ca and it is incredibly beautiful! I did not recall being bothered by slower traffic in Oregon. Perhaps it was just that I was so engrossed in the fantastic scenery.

PCH to South then North thru central California

Thanks for the advice. Malibu looks like a good area to turn inland. I have no desire to see LA. And Mike, I am certainly looking forward to seeing it all for the first time! I am a bit worried about some of the passes still being closed. Any advice on what ones are usually open early, and...

PCH to South then North thru central California

Thanks for all the great replys guys. My plan is to come from Lewiston (95 to 20 to 395 to Susanville) Idaho and I think catch hwy 36 at Susanville and then take it all the way to the coast. Then I plan on taking the PCH or and hwy 1 all the way to San Clemente. I've heard the southern parts...

PCH to South then North thru central California

Nice info! I always thought 299 was the more twisty, less traveled road. I guess I will have to check out 36! I've rode the PCH from the north to Arcata, now I would like to do the rest of it going south from the Arcata area. I know it can be congested and more in the heavily populated...
