    Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely have the battery load tested. I've ridden the bike everyday since I got it. I'm not too worried about the time being wrong (time is not a big concern here...), but I'm more concerned about the source of the problem and the potential to get on the bike...

    Age is just a "state of mind." Although, it does seem that this crowd runs a bit later in that stage. Maybe you matured early? The military has a way of doing that. I should know, I'm getting ready to retire after nearly 25 yrs in less than 6 months from now! WhooHoo! Aloha, Duane B)
