Look up Henry’s Final drives. He manufactures an overdrive final drive for Gen 5 goldwings. He might be able to do the gear swap for you. He is located in Southern California. His drives get great reviews by Goldwing Owners that hav3 them.

Try a 2up Trifecta. 1500 miles back to back to back within 72 hours (1500 miles each day). It has only been done once in the IBA history. Not impossible, just have to plan properly and keep the bike moving and overcome any obstacles that occur, like a aux fuel cell valve failure. ;):unsure:

Archer, yes the GP setup will fit into a gen 1 fork. When ChazGlen had an issue with his gen 2 forks, he bought a set of gen one forks off ebay for the cartridge. They had GP cartridges in them. We installed them into his gen forks. Works just fine.

One thing to consider, is the torque value for the bottom bolt to the cartridge is too much. Max at Traxxion Dynamics recommends snugging it up and then give the bolt just a little more. It's got a copper washer underneath and won't leak and won't break the cartridge. The bolt can't fall out...

I have a gen II fork damper. I don't know if it will fit. But you are welcome to it to try. Part 31 in the microfiche looks exactly the same. The bolt that goes into the bottom looks the same. From you picture I can't tell if the bottom is the same, but might be worth a try. Price is...
