I enjoy having the feminine (as large as they're petite and busty) species on for passenger rides on the FJR. Unfortunately some of them cook their shoes on the pipes and I have yet to find a way to get burned rubber off. Admittedly, a couple of those spots might be mine too. :) Suggestions?

I test road a KTM Adventure 990 a couple weeks ago, only because someone beat me to the SuperDuke first. :) I have to admit... I really enjoyed the ride! It was very happy on the highway with plenty of v-twin torque. Nice machine! Now I'm waiting for the RC8. (squirt!)

I've tried the Throttle Meister on two Suzukis I had. I'd say they are okay, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Hi again. At the moment, I own an 06 FJR and an 07 R6. Both completely different bikes, and I'm likely selling the R6 very soon. If I had the cash to start again, I'd buy two bikes again. :) The FJR wouldn't be a consideration. I think its a great all-rounder bike but if I had two bikes...

Something else to consider... While the rumored BMW is rated for 190hp, the current Hayabusa is 197hp, is very reliable and we know the current pricing. PS - Just as an aside, as much as I love BMWs, good lord I hate their %#$%$$#@'ing signal light layout. Its just plain retarded! Think of it...

Ah, it kissed the ground pretty hard. It would have scrapes in the plastic all over. My buddy at his bike shop gets me stuff at cost, so it should only cost $70 or so. I'm dropping off my FJR to him tomorrow to wire in the power for my Garmin Zumo 550 so at least the timing is convenient. :)

Well, Maybe I didn't have it locked into both tabs. I slid it in place as usual and hear a solid "CLICK" as it latched down. Oh well. I'll put it back on and see what happens. I'm just glad it didn't plow someone else's car behind me!
