Well the good thing is the Mtn that my dealer is going to take my bike up to test is a nice tight turn kind of road. There is not alot of straightaways. They will be taking the bike up there on wensday and if it happens to them Yamaha is coming down to look at it.

ELP i looked at the build date on mine it is 03/07. I live about 1/2 hour from Palomar Mtn it climbs from about 2,000 to 7,000 in a reasonably short time it has nice tight turns.

Is there any good places to get your suspension setup in the San Diego area ? when i had my R1 lee's Cycle was the place for it. where is a good place to bring the FJR for suspension work ? Dont care if it is San Diego County or Orange County Thanks for any replies.

I have a brand new 07 i have not found out if it has the surge issue. I will try to take it to some mountains to check today.
