Thanks to those who replied and others that i found using search. I burped the system, added some water, then took her out for a 5 mile loop. She never got above 2 bars on the temp gauge. So, this saved me a trip to the dealers and probably over $100.00. Appreciate all the technical smarts...

I think that the 2005 is the better deal....I just picked up a used 2004 with considerably more miles on than the one that you're talking about and got it in the low 8's. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom and the service records bear that out. I dont think that the heat is that...
