    Daytona

My 2 cents from a native Floridian (not transplant). North end of Duval St. in Key West at sunset, Mallory Square. Not much of a better way to start a pub crawl or watch the show on the main drag ( maybe pun intended).

    2004 Project FJR. Should I?

On going progress on my project, Rust in the tank is a major head ache i am still over coming.but if you have all the plastics and the skills, go for it! Check out the inside tank photo of before and I will be posting after soon. My current concern is the fuel pump. Keep the updates coming if...

    Rehab Gen1 Project

Fuel pump apart and de-rusting and tank prepped for remover. All else, have a salvage yard holding a "plan B", found the nuts & bolts (literally) and you will be glad to know some arms (mine) do fit thru the opening of the fuel pump and can give a wire brush prep inside a rust nest! Nothing but...

    Catastrophe

So, I guess having someone bring it after your seated wasn't an option? You likely would have spilled in a momentary reaction to on screen mayhem anyway!

question about brake light wiring, ABS, and a flasher module

Eric, Could you snap a photo finish? One is already installed on my gen1 and I find extra wires at the battery I don't find on the FSM diag. Wondering how much chasing I will have to do.

    Rehab Gen1 Project

Okay guys, I have been prone to over thinking things on occasion. This will likely be one of them. Thanks for the input. Still prepping the tank...let you know this weekend.

    Rehab Gen1 Project

Updating: The fuel pump has as much cruddy rust as the tank and has come apart for cleaning. I have it in the rust remover soaking and was amazed that the filter element was even flexible. I will likely need to source one if this fails so if ya got one sitting around, PM me! Panels are...

You know someone is giving serious thought to the fact that a Ninja is now available with a blower. Why not.....? Who's up to it?

    Rehab Gen1 Project

Great story and better recovery! I know good, great, and pos officers in both civilian and military. Occams razor seems the rule and the path of least effort for the latter examples only. The best actually thrive on doing well, going beyond Easy! They get my respect.

Shinko 016 Verge 2x Rear Tire

I think Mr. Iggy would like the easy to use search hints to be utilized more often?

Snapped a pic of my bike yesterday

West coast sunset always good lighting and a great subject! Lots of nice curves for a photo without one of the Cali bondo chicks in it!

Posting My First Photo. Wahooo! Black Gen3

Lights on the forks and under the rearviews? Great coverage and visibility! Like that wood work for a garage also.

Lessons Learned on changing the CCT

Thanks for lowering the intimidation factor by 90% at least. Trying to get all the details right before the the start up!

Retrofit ABS to Gen I FJR

Gitbox, I' m almost confident that many of THE Abs issues include someone messing about the system with magnetic tools which is a very bad thing! Rehab (Lazarus?), my 2004 gen1 includes the optional Abs and it will be awhile til finding if it is working. If not, so be it, but if so then another...

    Rehab Gen1 Project

BigSky, I have drained the case, dark oil only, no gray and no watery layer. While empty i am going to remove the clutch cover and eyeball the innards of the lower end for the possible line left, the clutch movement, maybe a few other things. Noticed you had a bike stolen and recovered, rare...

    Rehab Gen1 Project

Sky, bottom line is clear title in hand from prior owner from out of state. Each state is different, convoluted and for obvious reasons designed to both protect from crooked activity and make sure the person seeking has a right to the vehicle in the first place. I like the name Lazarus and...
