hey all, chasing a problem here, The symptom is a big lurch, hesitation, surge, like turning the bike off. past the throttle point, the bike runs great, seems to happen when the tac is about 3k, maintaining very light throttle. it's not a misfire or anything, but a big off then on, smooth...

looks like i might have the same issue on my 16es, it has a huge stumble, jerky if slight throttle and held steady. sometimes worse than others. i also keep my cable with very little free play, not sure what spec to adjust the tps to, i'll check my service manual. the 16 does not have the dash...

did the xmount have the additional tether piece that ataches to the corner of the phone ?? i always have mine in my pocket, incase my bike and i head in different directions

interesting, i do my own tires, composite spoons, and sometimes fight the last little bit on the top bead. watching the video, it looks like this could scratch up the wheel pretty good ?? any information would be good, did you order adapters with it ?? i would get a changer, but i don't want...

do the smuggler lids fit any better ?? the ones i looked at they were verry wobbly, looked like they would leak, and overall didn't look impressive at all. it is possible its just the sample of smugglers that i have seen and the rest are perfect or very good ??

loosen the pinch bolts, remove the center nut, slide the assembly up, no need to tear everything apart. i have done it on my 16es, when new and last fall. repacked, and retorqued. I use a socket and not a spanner, but the first time was the spanner.

tap the front tire with a rubber mallet , you can apply the fromt brakes and repeat, see if the noise can be tracked down. people guessing what someones specific noise is may or may not apply. Better to figure out a procedure to diagnose your noise.

so you can't hear your music, or others can not hear it ?? In order to listen to music, GPS, text alerts, etc. I have to turn OFF the mesh and turn ON the bluetooth intercom network

??? i don't understand this. so if connected mesh to another 30k, you can't listen to bluetooth music. Is this at all, or over the network, or is there no multitask with mesh ?? i would have thought i could get gps, play tunes from phone, and use mesh to communicate

it is sure nice being able to monitor a repair on the road too. fobo here too, installed last spring, but they were completely dead the last ride of the year hope it's just batteries last i checked battery levels 1 was down 1 bar in the app, both green.

so wouldn't the 30k make sense, since if they use bluetooth both units are the same ?? and if someone else uses at 30k, then that works too ?? aside from saving a few dollars, why would the 20 be the recommendation ?? debating a purchase myself. thanks (1st com)
