    Floor jack lift cup...

    I do not reccomend grinding off those tabs! as was mentioned they keep things from sliding off. if removed the slightest wiggle could spit that out,the rest of that sentence is censored.

    Thanks Guys,Ross that was right on.I was setting up the "carbs"/throttle bodies and still had the air box off....there is a sensor on it, DOUH!

    I logged 6,000 miles on a used Craigslist first gen FJR without a burp....I am thrilled and it was everything you said it was,I have ground the pegs on corners I have driven late into the night,I would sell all my other bikes to keep it.most of the problems are caused by me! lol

    I am assuming that this is not related to that........ya know what happens when you assume. Since it fired right up,and runs fine.I am hoping it is just something I missed or cause I messed up the throttle bodies.

    Thank-you very much wfooshee,I definetly fried something,I am hoping it is not the ECU cause I can run the bike.I will get a starter cutoff relay. Lesson to learn from this......U hauling it home was not that bad. so annoying to open the ignition switch and see the little u bracket stuck in...

    I do believe that is what I am looking for everything seems fine except the teal green with gold band does not have 12 volts.....1.090v it is the other side of the sidestand.

    wfooshee:I like your direction,disconected the 2 smaller wires and checked the ignition switch with my voltmeter and it is working. one of the small wires from the harness is 9.9v and the other is nothing and not grounded. I looped it cause I love to do that.....no change,cranks no fire,pull...

    when I bypass that to ground I can get it to run in gear.......only with the clutch looped. if I let the clutch out it will shut off,dash is still lit, just shuts off engine. if the neutral switch was a problem it should run fine once grounded Thanks Guys for your support I am a little...

    Thanks Guy's Since it starts and runs in neutral,with the clutch in only,that bypasses the side stand circuit. let the clutch out and it shuts off electrically,in neutral,it should not make a difference if the side stand is down or up I checked the sidestand with a ohmmeter and it is working...
