    Motorcycle For Sale 2018 Yamaha FJR1300ES w/accessories

Sorry, for some reason I'm not getting email notifications of posts from this forum. Either the Corbin or the Laam. I've tried stock, newer Yamaha Comfort Seat, a Saddleman, and I'm still looking for a better fit. I had a Corbin on my Honda ST and loved it. Haven't tried a Laam, but heard good...

To lean or counter-lean, that is the question...

If you focus on handlebar input you will be at a greater lean angle than if you transferred weight. Lean angle equals risk. It is not one or the other, it is both. The heavier the bike, the more weight transfer will help. If you think about sitting still, if you lean you will fall over. The...

To lean or counter-lean, that is the question...

I'll add to @Bounce list... the physics of Counter STEER requires motion and under 20 or 25 isn't as affective. As @feejerbkb, I've done some YCRS. I may not use the methods to the extreme as when you learn on the track, but I think all of it is scalable. I'm not moving my body off the seat...

To lean or counter-lean, that is the question...

Another point of consideration in street cornering is the imperfections you will run into. It is not uncommon to have elevation changes, pot holes, patches, tar snakes, etc, etc. Under the "Lean angle equals risk" category, your suspension will work better the more erect the bike is. You don't...

The WHY NOT 2023 is a reality!

JP and Mel, king and queen of Why Not?. Best roads I've ridden and endless supply of alternative routes. Hardest part was choosing which direction to go. Besides the seriously good breakfasts at the diner and the prime rib from the Elks, the hand-rubbed tri-tip sliders courtesy of JP were not...

The Why Not 2023 - Registration, Dinner and Shirt Orders- 7/19/23 UPDATE - WITH FREE STUFF!

If either of you find yourself at the bottom of Lolo pass (Hwy 12).... you can go south on Hwy 13 about 15 miles and Hwy 14 out to Elk City is worth the trip. It is one way in and one way out, but excellent in both directions. If you are coming down Idaho 95, you can take 13 west out of...

Are Rifle Fairings still in business or gone the way of Bike Bandit?

Proprietor is Gary, who was working production, and sales/service was Dennis for the last year+. Both working as of closure.

Are Rifle Fairings still in business or gone the way of Bike Bandit?

Whelp... I waited past the 6 weeks, am at my 8 weeks. As posted... they're out. No phone answering, no leaving messages, emails returned undeliverable, website gone. Filing for a refund from my card company. Taking money without the intention of delivering product would have been the last way I...

Are Rifle Fairings still in business or gone the way of Bike Bandit?

Do we have a local member that could maybe swing by and see if the shutters are open or closed? I've been calling, but no answer machine anymore, no website, and my emails are coming back as undeliverable, which may be tied to the website down because it is a riffle.com email address.

Are Rifle Fairings still in business or gone the way of Bike Bandit?

I spoke with Dennis a couple weeks ago on the phone about an order I placed in June. At the time he said it would probably be 6 to 8 weeks, closer to 8 weeks or a bit more. I already have a Rifle windscreen (Clear +3) and I do not need the angle optimizers or bracket. I only ordered a Smoked +1...

    Brakes failed

"official" manual method for the rear is bleed front lower first, then rear. However... I wouldn't think it would make a bit of difference. Same with front. The manual says left first, then right upper. So, I do it thinking there is mojo in it.... Activate the ABS: Do not activate any brakes...
