@K-Flyer When I had a set of Motolites on my BMW, I replaced the incandescent bulbs with some LED bulbs. This significantly reduced the drain on the electrical system. https://motolight.com/product/super-bright-led-motolights/ Their website does NOT list the wattage for the LED bulbs, however.

I keep my Clearwater Darlas set to the LOWEST (dimmest) setting and have never had any oncoming traffic "flash" me. YMMV

The jury is out as far as the effectiveness of a fork brace on a FJR, however, I feel it has improved the handling of my front end since I installed it. YMMV

Too high? Well, it is a 21 year old motorcycle. Those who don't know about how great the Gen1 FJR's really are, even with all the farkles and updates, may pass due to its age. You price ($3200) seems fair considering the upgraded suspension, stainless brake lines, etc. GLWS

I have a SuperBrace fork brace on my Gen3 and recently swapped the front forks to a set of Gen2's. I successfully installed the SuperBrace to the Gen2 forks, no problem.
