I believe yours would be considered a Gen 3. These risers fit gen 2 and gen 3, 2006 - 2023 year model FJRs.

I use a Puig clip on, on top of a Yamaha Touring screen. I had hoped that the touring screen by itself would be enough but it just doesn’t work quite as well as the clip on wind deflector.

I have put grip puppies on my last 3 bikes, I highly recommend them. And they’re easily removable if you decide you don’t like them.
