03 smuggler paint question

I just recieved a smuggler for my 03 and the color match is a little darker than the rear rack. I compared it to that since it is close to it on the bike. It looks good on the bike, but the color looks to be between an 03 and 04, it still has good contrast with the bike. I know silver is one of those colors hard to get spot on, but was wondering if anyone has a smuggler on their 03 and what it looked like, and could the bike color have lightened up somewhat over the years. I'm going to call corbin and talk to them about it, I just don't know what they will do about it, if anything.
