Who: Patrick Shaughnessy from SF, hello everyone!
What: sale of my original left-side saddle bag that came with my '05 Galaxy Blue FJR 1300 for USD 275. One key is included. Please see links for pictures.
Where: San Francisco
When: the bag is immediately available
How: it will be shipped to you via an insured ground carrier.
Why: the left-side saddle-bag is being sold because I purchased a set of '06 saddle bags. I let a friend use Mizu and he did not properly secure the right-hand bag and it came off at speed. I tried to part-out the lock but no luck. It's a total loss. Ouch and :--(
Details: neither the interior bag nor shipping cost is included (the interior bag is torn anyway and on its last leg). There are some scruff marks towards the front. There is no exterior damage that would impair its use or allow water to leak in. It is "wear and tear" from 53,500 incredibly enjoyable miles since May, 2005. There is a white reflective strip (custom from, I think, California Sport Touring) on the side. On the back is the reflective sticker, clear, that has the Yamaha tuning fork. Both reflect well and are not roughed, torn, or otherwise detract from the bag. The bag itself works great, no mechanical issues, it just needs a mate!
