Do you guys like these risers or not?

Do they take away the "sport" aspect of the bike?

Are your hands/wrists comfortable?

Are/were they too far up/too far back (towards you)?

PLEASE advise...money being spent...

I have the 6deg version, and they don't take the sport out.

They tend to help my wrists not bend as awkwardly (at least for me), and thus reduce wrist pain.

Agree with Woodstock. Mine didn't come with the extra chrome bolt covers to make them purty, so I stopped in at the Heli plant in Cornish, Maine and they were kind enough to give me a few. (I hope they don't read this!!)

I'm on my second set of MCL risers. I started with the 6 degree models, which worked great and really relieved the wrists. Then, after getting a Rick Mayer saddle which was built to be 1" taller than stock, I found myself leaning on the bars more, so I bought a set of regular angle and all is well again. Never noticed it taking away from the 'sportiness', but my bike had Heli's on it when I bought it, so I have no idea what stock is like.

I put on Heli's then changed to MCL's 6*, I like the 6* but they are higher than the Heli's and it took me a few hundred miles to get used to them.
