'06 Clutch Question

Since this is my first FJR and having only ridden a friend's 04 for a very brief period (read: I have no real basis of comparison), I thought I'd pose this question to you learned people. While in gear and releasing the clutch lever, it engages almost immediately and there is virtually no play in the clutch lever. Is this normal and is there an adjustment?

Adjust the lever so it is farther from the bar, your engagement point will move out with it. See owners manual or just twiddle the knob at pivot point of lever.

armore., you are correct in that because this is a hydraulic system, there is virtually no free play (unlike the old cable-linked ). Adjust your lever to suit your comfort. :assasin:
