I've seen a few posts regarding what everyone is thinking the 06 models will look like - I happened to notice quite a few models (Majesty, Warrior, Roadstar) that are being offered in red for 06 - could it be a sign? I hope so! :D

Red, sixth gear, 165hp, standard cruise and heated grips, and a 850 watt alternator. Oh yeah, the fairing has been redesigned for better upper air flow while the engine and lower fairing areas have been redesigned for better heat management.

If the North American '06s are that two toned silver and blue I think they will lose sales. It gives the bike a really dated look IMHO. R1-Red is a winner, there was one at WFO4 and it was so pretty.

Tried to pry this very information out of a ahamaY representative in Sturgis this year. I promised if he told us, I would sight a "confidential source" to credit the information. :p He still declined. :(

Turns out we'll have to wait until Europe and US announcements are made, sometime in September according to him.

FOR SALE: 2005 FJR1300. Barely used.

Hey Mr. Dealer, where do I send my deposit for a 2006 model?

The important thing is in norway they are being reduced to $40,000 even out the door
I heard they have this new "Employee Pricing" gimmick, bringing them down to $39,995 now. Such a deal!

I took pictures of the bike and the price tag. I'll post them when I get home.

"Employee Pricing!" Yuz guyz are too funny!

:D

I don't think anyone will know anything definite till the Sept. release. It may be even longer for the FJR, here in the US, if Yamaha decides to do the PDP again for 06.
