'06 pictures please

Hello,

I'm considering a '06 or '07 FJR. I had a ST1300 and liked it o.k. but didn't like the way it looked with the windscreen raised, vein I know but it did look goofy. Thats not why I got rid of the bike but one reason why I wouldn't buy another. I wished the windscreen would raise straight up, keeping its angle. That would both help the airflow with a more raked back angle and look better.

Would you please post some pics with windscreen all the way up, down and inbetween. I think such a nice, sporty looking motorcycle should not look like a goof mobile with a clear barndoor on it with the screen up.

I hate that feature. I always feel like I'm racing to wash and dry the bike before the battery dies... :lol:

The A's are blue, the AE's silver. On the 03-05s you could rake the screen back 1/4" by inserting washers under the screen support. Don't know if this is possible with the 06 but it does rake the screen back giving it a less upright look when raised.
