06 Sighting

I stopped in at San Jose Yamaha today to get the repairs started on my bike. The service manager showed me two spankin' new '06 FJRs. Windshields weren't even on them yet.

It sounds like one may not have an owner. Is that possible?

Is someone on this forum gonna be happy this week??

One was on the floor today at Mission Motorsports in Irvine. Very nice looking darker shade of blue. Overall, the bike wasn't at all angular looking like the pictures had me thinking it might be.

It was parked next to an '06 ST which I walked right past without even noticing, not at first.

That's where and how I got one of the first 04's released. Called them , got the only " spare " they ordered one half hour after they put it on the floor. Sorry waiters I know you hate to hear that, but instant gratification came with a price! :blink:

Likewise on my '05. Decided I wanted the FJR in March '04 and had it by July. Didn't want to lose a season, so I paid the price. No regrets.
