I don't have any local Givi dealers to see what the various colors of the E52 might look like on the 2007 black-cherry. My thoughts at this time are with the gloss silver or gloss black. No plans on painting to match.

I was wondering if there was anyone with any pictures of the such, or could at least comment. If you decided on one color, would you do it again, or try a different color.

It doesn't look like Yamaha is going to release the black-cherry in the time frame I'm looking at doing a couple of trips. I guess all of the black-cherry paint is going on bikes..I would have thought the profit was better on plastic.

Thanks in advance...I searched, so there might have been a picture I missed when searching GIVI

I would think the black would be better looking on a Cherry FJR than the silver, just MNSHO. Did you check out the Givi site ? I've got the C46, color matched to my blue '05, & wish I'd gotten the 52 just for those long rides when you need every cubic inch of space.

The Givi sight isn't the best as far as seeing the bags in the various colors they offer. You get to see a few pictures of the E52 in silver, then you have to use your imagination for the other colors that they denote by tiny color strips.

I was really hoping someone with an '07 might be able to post some pictures if they had gone with the E52 in their desired color.

Black is always a safe bet...even if you end up changing bikes in the future. I wasn't sure if there was enough silver in the frame to make the silver look okay. In the end, I guess it's more function than appearances. Good looks never hurt though...especially since you have to pay for it one way or another.

E52- I'd go with black. I've got it on my blue 05 and it's massive. Just don't use their light kit. Make your own.
