Browse through this. You can take the VIN and call any Yamaha service shop and have them run the number to find out if the recalls are done. The issues that you would be concerned with are covered by Yamaha; the big items would be the ground harness and the key switch. These are the major issues, there are a couple of minor things that you may want to have done but they are nothing to make a difference in a deal.
The price is retail, not a smoking good deal. In the end, is it a good price to you? Can you wait and see if something better comes along? If this is the bike you want, it's here now and it looks good to you at this price -- congratulations on your new FJR

Searching for Dry Roads
Take a look at any maintenance records. I'd be especially interested if the first valve check was completed and the results (if any) of it.
FJRs are a reliable platform and with normal maintenance will run for a good long time.
