FJR spotted on WI130 between Lone Rock & WI 27/Dodgeville...was it you?

You were followed by a couple of Wings...

Wifey & I were on the '04...having a nice 3 day ride (first one). Easy mileage - 250 miles a day or thereabouts...

Riding 2-up is alot more tiring in the twisties than by myself. Momentum into curves, lots more braking effort even though I took it easy knowing my suspension was not up to the usual...

Had lots of fun, and thanks to RidercoachLar for helping me out by lending me his comm system...was great for our first lengthy 2-up ride.

Now to put on the new shock, tires, smitty tank insulation, & 36K maintenance...

Not to derail, but who is installing your new shock? I had my suspension done by Ken at https://www.superbikeitalia.com/ really nice guy and I would recommend him again. So, if you are in the market for the new suspension talk to him first. he is certified Ohlins suspension guy.

I'm jes gonna put in my new/slightly used shock from fellow forum member devanator myself...I watched yamaholic put one on my bike in fall/05, so now I'm ganna have a go at it.

This shock will tide me over for this fall's CFR/EOM trip till I get the aftermarket system hopefully over the winter. Thanks for the recommendation.
