I went to a motorcycle show in San Antonio a couple weeks ago to check out all the new sportbikes. After looking them all over I kept coming back to the new CBR.

So, last weekend I did it. Here's my new CBR...

I've only ridden 190 miles but did ride on some of my favorite twisties and can't believe the handling. Feels like a 600 with 150+hp.

Excellent choice for a full liter sportbike. Can't wait for all the magazines to do their liter bike comparos. I bet the Honda will be at or near the top. :yahoo: :yahoo:

In all honesty, I liked the last generations look better, but I've heard nothing but good things about the new platform and that it is superior to the last gen model.

Looks like fun to me. I think that might be my next bike to replace the FZ1.

I've always felt like the rr's were more comfortable than any other super sports bike.

What the hells wrong with you!!!!!!

Think about us, Will you?

And while your at it. Please add a sound clip. I want to add an audible to this day dream.

That's a sweet ride...I like the pipe, down low and clean without the hanger. Honda quality and finish is second to none. These new 1000's are rockets. I put about 90 quality miles on my new ZX10 today on some smooth mountain 2 lane blacktop. This bike just feels a lot like a 600 on steroids it is so flickable..corners so well and just shrieks down the straights.. I have about 400 miles and 2 oil changes and am pretty much revving to near redline periodically.. After riding the ZX14 and an 08 Hayabusa I believe this to be the quickest I have ever been on in the range of 9 to 12,000 r's...

And they say the Honda laps quicker than mine !! These new litre bikes are all being manufactured in Japan .. a good thing for quality..not so good for the economy..

Your ZX10 looks great too. I really like the black. These new litre bikes are amazing and really do feel like a 600 on steroids.

Congrats on a great superbike. I've had a 929 RR back in 2000 and absolutely loved it. The new 1000, I bet, rides like a dream. Wouldn't mind having one of those myself.

Just a few minutes ago my wife showed me the press release in the local English language paper for the RR...

Just released here, selling for $15,300 (US Equiv)...looks like they go for low 11's in the states...sweet.

Wow! congrats on the new liter-bike! I really like the way they have molded the lower fairing into the exhaust perfectly. The Buell 1125's designer should take notes ;-)
