Late season - gotta move cause I don't want to store it. I have a bad knee which is making biking less fun especially on long runs but otherwise this bike is a blast.

I bought this bike new. it has about 23000 miles on it. 1300cc FJR AE - ABS brakes - adjustable windshield - sliders - Heated Grips - tank and other bags (very versatile system) - Hard bags snap off in seconds - Extras - I'll even throw a nice bike jacket in with it.

Only bad is small dents in right exhaust from zero MPH drop (bad knee) in gravel and mirror scratches. Otherwise just small normal wear scratches here and there that should buff out.

Call me with questions - I can probably send pics if needed but i'm not real techy (it looks like any other 08 fjr ae) Dark Charcoal Grey.

Please - i think this is about as low as you will find a bike like this for - so come with cash rather than lower offers.

Test drives are iffy unless you show up riding a bike or show MC endorsement on license and convince me of your competence.

This is a sad day for me. It is the first time I have seen an 08 advertized for less than I paid for mine.

Good luck with the sale. Is a trike in your future?

Seriously? Wow, do I wish I was making some money now. Link sent to my brother.

I appreciate all the nice comments - Thank you. The knee is an old injury getting worse in older age. It happened in 1971 on Jolan Road somewhere near KIng City California when a goof driving an Army truck pulled out in front of me on my brand new Triumph Bonneville when i was doin about 85. In retrospect, even tho he was ticketed, i should share a bit of blame cause I was skittish of the front brake and basically just locked up the rear. I've learned SO much about ridin since. My new Bell helmet saved my life that day and I STILL don't have brains enough to wear a helmet all the time.

This is a great forum!

And.. I forgot to mention the tires are nearly new.

And.. for anyone that ever dissed the electronic clutch - I say its progress just like cruise control. I love mine and only wished i had a clutch ONE time when a smartass on a hopped-up Harley was revving next to me at a stoplight. I didn't want to power brake so (hanging head in shame) he got me for about half a block. I don't know how fast I was goin when I passed him but I never saw him again. So let's see.... the score in 23,000 miles is 1 AGAINST and countless instances of ease and convenience FOR.

i can't see the photos but that is a great price for a bike with low miles...i would be interested but just a little leary about the auto clutch, maybe just ignorance or just that i still like having a clutch...well hope to see some pictures of it and best of luck with sale!

An HD taking ANY modern I4 bike on the bottom end isn't surprising given inexperienced riders.

The low end torque, weight and long wheelbase of the HD means you can pin it and just pop the clutch. Not a good idea on a modern bike.

The same is true for any bike, foreign or domestic that follows the HD mold... er.. mould.

am i missing the photos? anyone see them?
This was in the first post
