The bike was amazing and the Top Sellerie gel seat very comfortable - very highly recommended.Paris to Essex on day one and Essex to Paris on the last day were the longest legs. I kept off the motorways and autoroutes as much as possible but did use the A16 and A15 in France for a while. A very easy ride through some lovely countryside. Noticeably warmer in France! The screen kept most of the weather off me though, I was a little cold on my back.I had serviced the bike (16,000 mile service at 17,000 due to the transmission recall) before leaving including the Diff oil and I was very glad I had done it as the old Diff oil was rather horrible after 17,000 miles. If you haven't done yours, think about doing it...A wonderful, wonderful motorcycle and I'll commend it to anyone. I'm very sad they are no longer available in Europe.</blockquote>
