OK, I am admitting to having a gay FJR. All clean. So, here's what happened. Left the windshield up w/ key on while waxing, went inside and got sidetracked helping sick Dad. Two hours later, went back to find battery dead enough not to start. Went to Wal Mart and picked up a Schumacher fully automatic battery charger maintainer with float-mode monitoring - 1.5 amp slow charge here for $17.44. It came with a pigtail hookup that was perfect to attach to the Blue Sea fuse block previously installed under the back seat. The length of the pig tail was perfect as it comes out under the rear seat but not so far as to be exposed to the elements. The charger performed perfectly. It did get very warm during the charge and was glad it was set on the side bags instead of the seat. That could have been a costly mistake. The install time was no more than 3 minutes. Charging time took about 8 hours or so. This morning, had the green light showing a full charge.

Ready for the road to search for other clean silver FJR's. :flirt:

Sure beats Battery tender prices. $60 for the one I bought last year.

Wallyworld and chinese technology win again.
