Was riding solo Saturday on FM1431 going west toward Marble Falls and saw a couple of FJR's heading east. Anyone on here?

Would love to meet some of the other Austin area riders. Maybe we can get a ride together one of these weekends.

Wasn't me, but my husband and I were out north of Balcones. (He's got a BMW R1200RT but I've forgiven him for that.) We moved to Killeen in August and have been trying out all these great roads up here. Is FM 1431 as good as it looks on the map?

Yes, 1431 is a great road with a few good roads that come off of it. CR328 (Cow Creek) that runs up through the Balcones Wildlife Refuge is one of them.
