GEE....sorry your bike turned out to be so disappointing :glare: .....why don't you tell us who you really feel :) ....& don't hold back :D ...just let it go.....let it all out....

I picked up Maxine (a beautiful Galaxy Blue 05) a year ago on my bday, 28 May. Gave her an oil/pumpkin change as a present. Only have 12k on her - it did snow that one weekend in Feb!

I'm way too shy to tell you how I really feel ,,
Looks like we'll have to get you signed up for expressing yourself classes with Radman, TWN, Rogue & alike....to help free the inner you....(is it just me or is the sh#t starting to get deep around here)....we will have you up to speed in no time... ;)

Got mine this past October. 13500 miles. I am still a happy camper.

I've never got the whole naming thing.... (it is an inanimate object)....guess I have no imagination....

Got Cougar 11 months ago. June 27 '05 and just turned 18,600+ fantastic funfilled miles. Sold the Harley, the Feejer is the only bike in the garage now. Never to look back.

Ditto. I don't get it.

I've never gotten it. Name your PC "Bert"? Your fridge? "Iceman" How about your TV? "Pixel!". How about your commode? "Thomas" (for Thomas Crapper, inventor of the modern flush toilet). I don't see nicknames on inanimate objects as meaning a damn thing.

:p I guess I named my FJR "FUN". Not formally, but that is how I typically refer to it, so I guess it fits.

I am conscientious enough of it's "life" to know that it is almost a year since I picked it up from the dealer with 0.0 miles on it. My first ride was 4.4 miles of city street and a short stretch of interstate.

I had a stupid smile on my face the rest of the day. All I can say is "What a wonderful piece of machinery!"
