Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate,

Especially below 4,000 rpms.

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

But your adjustable shield allows me

To cruise throughout 1,000-mile whims.

But summer's lease hath too short a date,

Hence your heated grips inflame the timid.

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

And often is his gold complexion dimmed;

Yet in your saddle do I enjoy all climes,

And travel even in howling wind.

But thy eternal summer shall not fade

Nor lose that power thou possess;

Nor shall speeding tickets and extended miles

Reduce the idiot grins I cannot suppress.

So long as I do breathe or my eyes do see,

My FJR will define thrilling beauty for me.

PS--Meant to go with Ogburn's spelling of the name but mistakenly added an "e" and an "a."

There is, of course, the old Mark Twain saw (loosely paraphrased): I don't want any part of a club that would have me as a member :)
Er, that was a quote by Groucho Marks, referring, as a dig, to a golf club that barred people of a particular 'belief set' from joining.
