It's not at all uncommon to have some surplus front tread -- after all, if you are going to push it to the edge, you rather have the rear give the warning before the front! Fronts tend to wear faster in corners due to the way they scuff around the curve while counter-steering. Rears tend to wear faster under acceleration, hard downshifts, etc. Sounds like you are pretty smooth on the throttle.</p></blockquote><p></p>
