Ok - read the 180 tire width topic and saw several comments that many in this forum are actually running the 190 vs the 180 OEM. Any fit issues at all? Like the OP of the 180 topic, I also like the looks of a fat rear tire. I'm going to go with the Michelin RP 4's and will upsize to the 190 if there won't be any rubbing I have stock suspension. Once the dang snow melts that is. Thanks in advance for opinions.

The 190 works fine without any modification of the bike or suspension. Lots of threads on this. I liked the tire as it increased the height of the back end a little, and felt equally stable to the 180. For me the 180 wears from edge to edge, but the 190 leaves pretty wide chicken strips.

Familiar with NEPRT?

Thanks.

No I'm not familiar with NEPRT...

It actually won't be much (If any?) wider cuz it gets "pinched" on the (Relatively) narrow rim. Butt, as Tom mentioned it will raise the rear, 'n quick'en the steering which is desirable w/ on of these beasts.
