Sherri's fine. She wasn't even in the car. Either was the owner of the truck that rolled into our 2 day from the dealer since we got it back from getting farkled brand new Honda Accord Coupe. He left his truck in neutral with no brake and the wheel lock apparently let it circle down the parking lot right into our car.

He's insured at least...we have witnesses. Everything seems okay now for getting her fixed...but:

Funny enough, we did get our first rain of the winter last night...

No ****...just incredible...

A lot of people ask "what kind of camera are you using"?

No, I want to know who is willing to insure you? :)

Unless ya'll have plans for kids.....

I'ld skip an activity for a little while

You better chain the FJR to a tree (just to keep it safe) :D

I think it's the rule of new. Our Highlander took a lumber cart in the side at Home Depot. Count your blessings that you got away with it on your FJR. And buy used for a while.

Holy *&*&%$(*, Andrew !!

Whose karma did you mess with ?!?!?!?

And I think Mike-H's idea is a good one - maybe the two of you need to hide for a bit. Lock the doors, don't answer the phone, just go to ground till that cloud passes over ... and be careful - crap happens in threes !!

Oh yeah - and scotch, of course. Lay in a supply before you lock the doors. But you might want to have it delivered.

Glad Sherri wasn't in the car when it happened. Coulda been worse.

I truly feel bad for you my brother. I would feel just as you do. But the perspective on this one is..just think how those Amish families are feeling right now. Kiss your babies and thank God for them.

That car will be good as new before you know it. I would however, stay away from those bikes for a while.

Sorry for the serious note to this, but that one was pretty close to home and I ride through allot of Amish country. I just had two large glasses of wine. Time for bed I think.

Now I'm going to have to read something other than this forum...you brought up some kind of current event I assume...

okay...read up on that...yes, stories like that bring damaged goods and sprained ankles into perspective. That and remembering more serious things like Ron's mishap. All in all, being alive and well constitutes a decent lack of really bad luck.

Are you kidding me?

OK, you two have got some bad juju goin' on... If you leave your cutlery on the kitchen counter, quick put it in a drawer. Feng Shui will overrule bad juju every time. ;)

Just glad the boda yas is OK!

Damn....when it rains it pours. I had a Honda Accord a couple of years back that some ****** poured a gallon of polyurethane on when it had only 60 miles on it.....Kinda of always felt like a used car after that.

CR-8, 'nuff said.... ;)

Sorry to hear about the crash Andrew... wierd stuff seems to happen in bunches to me too... just gotta push through it, and you'll hit clear skies again.

Oh there we go...someone that knows enough about me to start tallying up kharmic activity :)

If I remember correctly, someone fell on their head because of me too...

Dang...oh and I was mean about BBIII's holeshots...said they hurt my head and even called him Blip Blip (the BB in BBIII) since he likes to blip his throttle to hear the cacaphony ;)

I need to go to confession. Wait...I ain't Catholic. Darn!

The new Honda was just feeling left out of getting all the attention. :D

I had exactly the same thing happen about a year ago. My neighbors friend jumped out of her car, locked the door with the engine running and no parking brake, on a hill? I heard the bump outside and discovered the front of her car in the back of mine. It was pointed down hill and aimed squarely at my other neighbors house a little further down the street. It would have caused a lot more damage to the house than it actually did to my car.

Yes it sucks, but just keep in mind its only a bucket of nuts and bolts with some metal and plastic thrown in for good measure. The most important thing is that your family are safe. Cars/bikes can easily be replaced. ;) .

Ok now folks, one more mention about karma and I will be upset. As a believer in karma, you should understand that we are good people. This just seems to be bad luck.

But...if you believe in kharma, is there such a thing as luck? Sounds like someoneone who believes in predestination arguing that something wasn't supposed to happen. Hey, I'm just trying to inject a little (Very little!) Madmike twisted logic and wit into this situation. One day you'll be able to look back on this and laugh....

one day....

a looong time from now.....

perhaps in another dimension.
