Awesome. I've been known to hop on my touring bike bicycle
and head out for a week or so. Last year road from Walla Walla to Missoula over Lolo pass.

I have a Thorn Explorer tandem, take my autistic son out whenever we can - trouble is he is a stoker who puts in no effort and I'm 'hanging out my ass' by the end of the journey!
You're right, the San Francisco Bridge has that certain aura - especially in the fog........ and the 'rent a mob cycle rental crowd are a pain!
