She likes rollercoasters. She likes riding with a full-face and music. She could not remember the last time she rode a motorcycle (because it had been so long ago).

I'm 5'10"/183. She's 5'7"/135 (I think, I know better than to ask). We rode in the SOFT position, top bag in place and lots of extra clothing packed. Total load was approaching 350 lbs.

I've been bragging about the 2007 suspension lately. Now bragging some more.

Ran 80 to triples for over three hours. Mostly sweepers and single hard twists. No sequential twisties available. Rough pavement and smooth pavement. Hard corners etc.

No bottoming. No washout. No appreciable wandering, despite 20-35 mph winds and CB oversize shield.

BTW, she really liked the quiet zone created by the CB shield and my wide ***.

Both the CB +4w,+2h,w/flip shield, and the 2007 suspension in bone-stock configuration, receive my two-up approval. Took her(both) to buck-thirty bursts* with no ill effects. Ride height was noticeably low and I did drag one toe when I forgot to shift my foot before a corner.

The new passenger peg position made it possible for me to toe the pegs and stuff my heel comfortably inside her foot position.

She likes fast corners.

BOTH she's like fast corners!

:)

Fixed it for ya. You can thank me later.

BTW, just because she likes it now doesn't mean she always will, but the part about the roller coasters gives a lot of hope.

my wife banged on my helmet only when we hit 130...
He said "banged" and "helmet" together (childish giggle)
heh, heh. Yeah...."Banged helmet"...heh, heh...yeah!

I have found the FJR really to be very good 2 up. Actually, in top speed runs I think it is advantageous to have a pillion. I think it improves aerodynamics.

Um, might be the rear facing angle of the camera lense that helps too, no? PM. <>< :good:

I have had my wife up to about 140 and I was instructed to not do it again. She is cool up to about 120 and then gets too nervous. SHe was glad she did it once but she told me no more...

Do I need to say blah, blah, blah, again? :derisive: Nahhhh, I think that I'll just ask you "so, how was your date Cherryman?"

... I think that I'll just ask you "so, how was your date Cherryman?"
I did miss having nail marks on my legs and having the back of my helmet slapped. But it was a truly awesome experience to ride with someone that understood how it turns you on.

:)

The rest of the date was inconsequential to the ride.

I feel ya, My GF loves to ride. Many times she tells me to take her out on a ride. She leans with me and I only felt her shift once in a curve and I told her about it later. Come to find out she used to race motorcross in her youth. That explains it. I was amazed that she was not scared but then the motocross thing explained it.

Good for you Jeff, a girl that likes to ride is a good girl

Ahhh, there are much better places to have nail marks & better places to be smacked, anyhow.
