1 - Back in the 80's, I sometimes sharpened the end of a 1/2" dia piece of steel rod, stuck it in the end of my bikes exhaust pipe and whack a hole through the small plates that made the exhaust gases flow through the whole chambers in the pipe. This essentially released some of the back pressure allowing the exhaust to exit faster as well as making the exhaust note a bit deeper. This modification usually helped out a bit on high rpms and the deeper sound was just kinda cool. Has anyone done this on their bike?
2 - I just cleaned my air filter and noticed how restrictive the airbox is but from several posts, most agree that one should leave it as is. Any more info on this subject?
