I rode it the 150 miles home with him following in the truck (he doesn't have an M endorsement yet).
We get home after dark for another photo op before he suits up with his new helmet and gloves, a jacket I gave him and some other odds-and-ends that always nickle and dime new owners. Along with the DPS moto handbook, the BRC rider handbook, and a schedule of BRC courses in the area which he said he'd see about taking by the end of the month. I think he wants to practice some before taking the class in spite of me suggesting that breaking their bikes is cheaper.

Off he went with a few stalls, a lot of anxious moments, and a call 30 min later that he'd made it home safely.
