Own the last year of the Gen I FJR’s. I am the second owner of this bike, and I’ve had it for almost 5 years and have had many good rides with it. I’ve also added many mods or “farkels” on this motorcycle that I feel only add to its capabilities. It currently has 18,3xx miles on the clock. It has the normal wear and tear for a bike of this age and mileage, but no major issues anywhere. Always garaged and never down - the metal flake in the blue still shines. This bike excels at sport touring duties and I’ll be sorry to see her go, but an Adventure bike is calling…

Maintenance

• Fresh oil & filter change

• Brakes bled

• New Metzler Roadtec Z8 tires - Front has 1K miles on it, rear has none (brand new)

• Spark plugs changed 4K miles ago (Iridium)

• Throttle body sync 4K miles ago

• Final drive oil changed 2K miles ago

• Complete coolant flush 2K miles ago

• Regular maintenance performed annually (oil changes, etc)

• TPS recall done by 1st owner

Modifications List (Where to Start?)

• Remus Hexacone mufflers

• Cats removed from headers & heat painted

• Power commander 3 USB

• AudioVox cruise control (Installed by Smitty)

• Sargent World Sport seat with blue pipe

• K&N Air Filter

• AIS removed and block off plates installed

• Symtec heated grips with BMW sport grips

• Wild Bills highway pegs

• 3 powerlet sockets – 1 on dash panel, 2 on rearset

• Givi V46 topcase with color matched lid & optional integrated LED brake lights installed

• Givi topcase mount & topcase rack (not installed)

• Fuzeblock FZ-1

• Superbrace front fork brace

• Top Gun bar end weights

• Stem nut RAM ball

• 90 degree valve stems

• CalSci Medium (I think) windshield & stock windshield

• Internal bags for the side cases

• Yamaha shop manual

I also have all the stock parts taken off the bike. Everything from the mufflers and seat to the AIS and tail rack. I also have a few spare parts including front brake pads still in the packaging. The only negative I can come up with is that one of the side case bags has a handle that is almost ripped off. At this point, I'd like to sell everything with the bike, so I'm not interested in parting it out. A couple pics below, but more on Photobucket: Entire Album

Bike is located pretty much in the center of the USA, in Normal, IL. I have the title in hand. I am willing to assist with "reasonable" delivery requests. Feel free to email me with questions or for more pictures. Thanks for looking.

Asking $7000

Good for you!

How does one have a 7 year old Sport Touring bike with only 18K on it?
Well, I've only had it for 4 of those 7 years and put 16K of the 18K on it. And that's not much either, but it's one of 3 bikes.

I could ask the same about someone who racks up 6K posts in 6 years. :p
