I have a UK 2005 model year FJR1300 and wondered what the UK 2007 model year ( not the clutchless) changes / improvements are ?

Anyone got the info at their fingertips ?

Thanks,

Nick

Nick - I'm not sure about UK versus US version differences, but assuming US/UK versions are the same... I traded my '05/ABS in on a '07A just recently and here's the differences I've noticed on my '07 so far:

* Much less heat, even on warmer days. In fact, the only heat I've felt was on my left ankle/chin, and it's not bad at all.

* Seat looks different, but feels the same. It has two position adjustments (up/down approx 1 inch).

* Bars have 3 adjustments up and back. Mine came from dealership in center position. I moved them to the rear position which felt just right for me.

* A few more bells and whistles on the '07; headlight adjusters, power plug (for some crazy reason) is inside the glove box, re-worked gage arrangement which includes gear shift indicator and average miles per gallon (liter) indicator. Clock seems to stay accurate (which wasn't the case on my '05).

* Windscreen is shaped a bit different (very noticeable vertical bends on the sides of the windscreen) and is a bit taller. At 6' tall I noticed much less wind buffeting (over my '05) with the windscreen up.

* Overall gearing is taller. My '05 turned 3,000 rpm at 50mph. '07 turns 2,600 at 50mph. (both in 5th gear)
