Just got the August 2006 issue of Cycle World in the mail.

Pages 56-60 cover the 2006 1300AE.

It was written during the same San Diego ride shown of Two Wheel Tuesday.

You can hint about what they said. TWT they kept talking about the AE but kept showing the A. T

I didn't mean to tease people with no info, just didn't want to paraphrase a 5 page article of which 3+ of them are pictures.

Pages 56-57 show a nice leaned in turn (maybe an inch from touching the peg)

-Article starts out with a quote from Bob Starr, Yamaha Corp. Communications Manager

"Anyone who calls it an 'automatic' will be fined $5 for each infraction"

-Article was written by Paul Dean who racked up 350 miles on the AE in NE San Diego.

-They talk about new designed air flow/management (heat reduction)

-Rear being 2" narrower (bag mount redesign)

-Rode in 102F Anza-Borrego blast furnace (no heat felt-from engine)

-Upcoming side-by-side K1200GT vs FJR 1300AE review in the works :)

-Last page is dedicated to how the YCC-S works
