I am looking to sell my FJR.
I am the second owner and I have owned it since Feb 2007.
The odometer reads 13435 and the recall was done at 1767 so there are 15202 miles on the engine.
This bike does have a history. I shipped her over to Ireland in 2007 where I was working at the time.
Then rode her through the UK over to Belgium when I moved there in 2008. We toured quite a bit in Ireland and the mainland. She is not a garage queen. She has been ridden in rain and snow and everything in between.
I have not put as many miles as I could have on her. And I hope the price reflects that. There is some good and some okay.
It runs wonderfully.
Regular maintenance has been performed.
All the recalls have been done.
It has the following installed:
- Yamaha top case
- Yamaha side bags
- 3-way hyperlights in rear
- PIAA sport lights in front
- PIAA sports horn
- Cee Bailey large windscreen
- ram mount
- Garmin 2730 cable
- battery tender
- FZ1 mirrors
- tip-over guards
- new battery about 2600 miles ago
- PR4 front and rear tires about 2600 miles ago; great tread on them still as I do not push the bike
The okay parts are that there are scratches on the hard bags and the top case. There is also one on the fuel tank from a zipper when I was getting on. There were a couple of standing laydowns in a parking lot when I first got her and was learning my way around. I had tipover bars installed before then and there is some rash on the left tipover guard as well as the bottom of the stator cover.
The windshield has your standard scratches from 8 years of service. There are no cracks on any of the plastic.
I can forward pictures to anyone who is interested. I am in northern NJ so there will be no more miles on her this year. Currently has a full tank of gas and on a battery tender.
I am asking for 6500 or best offer.
