2006 Throttle sticking....

Fired up my '06 FJR this afternoon... just over 1200 miles and not to the dealer for the initial 600 til next week.... and oddly, the throttle stuck open when the motor caught. Revved like a mofo... scared me a bit.

I tried it several times and it continued to do the same. Stick open and rev. I considered heading to the dealer to have a look see. But, figured it would take a couple hours to have me moved in to the schedule and then look at it. I just rode safe and didn't have any problems.

Don't think I've every had a bike that did this. Anyone have a sticky throttle on a FJR? How'd ya remedy it?

B) B) See if the rubber grip has worked its way against the housing. Mine did ever so slightly and still allowed the plastic washer to seem to move freely.
