I just picked up a sweet 2007 with only 5700 miles on the clock. I want to be proactive and fix the spiders and cam chain tensioner. Is there ANY howtos on removing the body panels? I had a 2007 AE a few months ago and I never could figure out how to remove the lower panels and fairing covers.

First, the '07 owners manual has great pics and instructions for the dash panels. If you don't have a printed one, a pdf can be downloaded free from https://library.ymcapps.net/library/om/app/index.html?baseCode=6150&langId=02

Second, here's a tech bulletin from way back showing lower side panel removal. Step 7 on is for the nose and headlight removal, if you want to go that deep -> https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/s4pl...ey=vhivktmr2l0mx9q3uxf3vvw85&st=wtm1irg9&dl=0. Also downloadable. It's for the '06, there are very minor differences with the '07, you shouldn't have any trouble. Also, only the left side is shown, under that by the glovebox is where major electrical connectors are. The right side is nearly mirroring the right, you'll see.

Third, my thread for spider S4 and S6 repair -> https://www.fjrforum.com/threads/my-spider-bite-story.170085/. 1st post is a map and very helpful info. Follow links on pg 2 post #40 to dropbox if you can't see the pics. I'll update them if needed.

AWESOME! Thank you!

While you're in there, I'd change the radiator fluid (if you haven't already). Pretty cheap to do and not very hard. I'm guessing there is the original in there which 'might' need changing. :)
And welcome to the forum, hope you really enjoy that bike, the 07 is a great year.
