2008 Yamaha FJR 1300 Gen 2, 5 speed gearbox, ABS brakes. 145 HP Super clean, cosmetically 8/10, mechanically 10/10
All maintenance performed including:
• Valve Checks
• Fresh Synth Oil Change
• Brake & Clutch Fluid Flush
• Coolant Flush
• Relay Arm Bearings
• Steering Head Bearings (tapered roller bearings)
• Tires have ~3000 miles on them, I have been getting ~11,000 miles per set. (Avon Spirit ST’s)
• New Silverstar Headlight Bulbs
• New battery this spring Upgrades:
• Delkevic Tri-Oval Exhausts (Removable Baffles) • Heli-Bar Handlebar Risers (1” up, 2” back)
• TechSpec Snakeskins on the side cases
• National Cycle V-Stream Tall Touring Windscreen (not shown in pics, OEM on bike)
• Yamaha OEM Comfort Seats
• 90º Chrome Valve Stems
• GripPuppies Foam Handgrips
• Grip Warmers
• RAM mounting ball (space for one more in bar risers)
• Frame Sliders • PIAA Freeway Blasters horns (LOUD!!!)
• Audiovox Cruise Control (not installed)
The only flaw on this fantastic sport touring machine is a small crack in the speedometer lens which I have protected with clear window film to prevent water intrusion and further cracking. It has held for 3 years now and I have had zero issues. There are some very minor paint blemishes that come from 95,624 miles of use. Always kept in a heated garage, no cold starts, ever. I am the 3rd mature owner of this bike. It is a U.S. bike, originally from California, which means no “smart key” that needs programming. Included with the bike is a printed service manual (with LOTS of hand printed notes) , a printed owner’s manual, both OEM and tall touring windscreen, side cases, OEM luggage rack.
This bike is in fantastic shape and I would ride it anywhere in the condition it’s in. This is a veteran of 3 iron butt IBA rides and has never let me down. (Last IronButt Rally was won on an FJR)
Do NOT let the mileage deter you, this bike has hundreds of thousands of worry free miles left in her. I have performed every bit of maintenance required since I have owned it. Full synthetic oil every 3000 miles, nothing but the best.
No delivery, no paypal. Test rides at my discretion for the right rider, with cash in hand. The only reason for selling is I upgraded to a new 2022 FJR.
Asking $5900.00 CAD (Approx $4350.00 USD) or best reasonable offer.
