Sadly, an update. My wife, Stella, is extremely ill. Traveled 600 miles by ambulance yesterday to Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona because Las Cruces doctors unable to help after two weeks in hospital. See story for details.

Medical bills are and will be through the roof. I need to raise money ASAP. Put bike on Twitter for $7,000. (Current mileage is 20,700) I'll gladly take $6,500. Interested, please contact me at [email protected]

As for the bike and your things, maybe try listing the riding gear seperately.

Post some pics and prices here and you might be able to give someone a good deal plus sell your bike for a decent amount.

I've listed the bike on ebay and on Craigslist. Going to hold off on riding gear, which is really only secondary. I'll probably give everything away (except for the cool black motorcycle jacket I bought for $40 from someone who needed the money. I hardly ever wear it, but, when I do...

Appears to be a problem with the ebay listing. Trying to figure out how to list it in the following... eBay Motors > Motorcycles > Yamaha > FJR

No luck. I've lowered the price one last time. $6,000 for everything. At Craigslist. At eBay.

Stella's target date for release from the Mayo Clinic is March 11. But that date isn't set in stone... she must meet her assigned goals in both physical therapy and occupational therapy. Also, she is on the drug Remicade but it's not proving to be as highly effective as first thought. If the drug's effectiveness doesn't ramp up she will need to undergo surgery.
