2008 Saddlebag changes?

I have a customer that is having trouble fitting my reflective decals on their 08 bike. There aren't any changes that I'm not aware of on the saddle bags, are there? He had an 04, and just received and 08 model.

That's what I thought, but this customer had and 04 and just upgraded to the 08, and says that they are definitely different.

My 07 is a tad narrower in the rear, but that is due to the mounting structure being more compact.

I put reflective decals on my 08 from one of the vendors on here and they fit fine. When I ordered the decals weren't specified for which model year they were supposed to fit, which led me to believe this was a universal fit across all model years.

Not a problem for my 08 as long as I don’t attempt to install them on the "front" of the bags where the “bracket flanges” are located.

I now have an 08 after previously owning an 06. They are identical.

and I bet they don't work very well applied "sticky side out" either

No difference that I can see on my 08. Maybe he got the optional "Police Issue" bags that are narrower. No wait, those are just narrower lids. No way, same same!
