Good show but too bad that BMW has pulled out. I wanted to try their new dual sports. The new XR1200 Harley surprised me, as till now I've never liked a Harley. Not about to buy one but I liked it! Went by the FJR display several times and the AE almost always had a crowd around it. Met Bradlee, and saw some folks I know which was great.

Didn't realize some folks were going (didn't really think about it). The XR did look decent. Michelle Smith look haggard. I was surprised it was as busy as it was.

Really? BMW is not at the show this year? Hrm... Wonder if the boys I normally go with will even be interested in going this year.

I went on Saturday and it was crowded ! Me and the wife being introverts, we retreated to Clyde's Bar after a couple of hours.

The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club brought some nice bikes:)

My first bike, bartered for in 1968 by mowing grass. Mine wasn't even close to being this nice by the time I sold it.

My fourth bike; like the Honda didn't look this good when I sold it.

My friend Robert had one of these. I had to remove the left rear shock to extract his broken leg from between the shock and rear wheel :)

I always wanted one of these. My copy of Cycle Guide Magazine that featured it was well worn and dog eared.

Wanted one of these until I discovered the Kawasaki H2 :)
