You guys are going to like this one!!

Day 2 TB posted. Looking for good lunch suggestions in Marietta...anyone?

Questions, let me know!

Editor Note: After much thought, I decided the motel would be the best overall choice to stay. Most seemed to prefer it over cabins despite teasingly low rates, cost is not much more if you bunk 2 in a room, easier to organize with less exposure to problems, very close to gas, beer and food, and probably a better post-ride social spot.

Additional Note: This is not a highly organized “rally”. There are no prizes, t-shirts, registrations, banquet halls, bike washed, etc. This is an informal meet of FJR riders with the main purposes of enjoying great hilly roads and socializing in the evenings.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I'm very interested again since the date has changed. I would still need to be home for my son's graduation on the 7th. Will send PM. I will also be looking to split a room

Count me in. As it stands, I will be up for dinner on Friday, Sat events, heading home Sun. I might be able to come up on Thursday if I can get out of work early.

So definitely plan on staying at the hotel for the 5, and 6th.

I would prefer to share a room.

Looking forward to finally meeting some forum members. See you in June!! :yahoo:

OK, I'll switch my vacation days back to Thursday and Friday. I plan to show up Thursday evening and leave Sunday morning. See you there. :thumbsupsmiley:

Wow, great news! I have to see if I can get time off of work and then I'll be getting a room. The Baymont is a nice place. :yahoo:

I'll be there both days, but not staying the night....it's not that far from home for me.

I expect that I will be attending. Mike, thanks for all the good work... & I owe you a beer, too.

So, now to the other question... Is there a non-freak attending that is looking to roomshare?

I am intending to show up on Thursday evening & leave on Sunday morning.

Edited to add: I have a roomate. Now, is it spring yet?

I hope to be there, but work is slow, and money is tight. If I go I'll be looking to share a room to save cost.

Hope to see you all there.

Traditions in Woodsfield is a really good place.

Or Marv's Place in Sardis, Ohio if there are not more than a handfull in the group is kinda cool.

Hey Tom are you going?

I'm working with some guys from the Marietta area,I'll ask for some suggestions for places to eat.

Mike...have you run 595 from New Straitsville to 33(about 4 miles south of Logan) lately. It was paved last year...it might be worth a look.

I was on 595 today, the new pavement is great, but some gravel in the corners...from the winter I guess. A good place to eat is the restaurant at Fly, and the Beallsville Diner. Don't forget Jimbo's which is not far from Logan.
